SENSITIVE DOGS

I am extremely passionate about helping sensitive dogs. I have my own and have done several courses and in person training to further my understanding and skillset.

I am more than happy to walk sensitive dogs and clients will be required to complete detailed forms as to their dogs triggers. This isn't to pry, or judge, it's to help me keep everyone safe and for my insurance.

I am not a behaviourist and do not claim to be. Therefore if you contact me in regards to training I will always recommend that you see your vet in the first instance. This is to ensure that pain or illness is not attributing to the dogs behaviour. I will then recommend you several local behaviourists to contact to support you.

I am more than happy to work alongside behaviourists to help you with the training side or help you build confidence applying the skills they have taught you during your walks.

I do accept sensitive dogs for 121 Scentwork. I do ask that you are honest and upfront about the dogs history. If the dog struggles around strangers there are safe ways for me to instruct you during our sessions without me needing to have any direct contact with the dog.

I really love helping sensitive dogs and where I can help you I will but having lived this myself I would severely be doing you an injustice by taking on cases that my more qualified colleagues are better able to help you with.
